View →If you’ve got extra time at Singapore’s Changi Airport, or are planning whether the lounge is worth showing up extra for, let’s dine together at the Changi Lounge!
I had access to this lounge through my Priority Pass membership, which is included with my Capital One Venture X credit card. If you’re a frequent international traveler, I highly recommend getting a credit card with lounge access – and Capital One Venture X is one of the best, if not the cheapest, credit card with an extensive lounge membership. You can read the full review and learn more about the benefits about the card in my post below:
Alternatively, if you’re ready to apply for the card, please consider using my referral link. At no additional cost, I’ll earn extra miles which will help support this website!
Without the card, I would not personally pay out of pocket for the lounges – the prices vary, but typically lounge access can be as expensive as $50-100 USD per person for a 2 hour stay. 🤯 With the Venture X, you get lounge access and can bring up to 2 guests who have a valid departing boarding pass.
Location
This lounge is located in Jewel (mall portion of Terminal 1), close to the arrivals area of Terminal 1. It is located before immigration (non-secured area), so allow adequate time to get through immigration and find your gate.
Overall rating
Overall rating: Below average. Of the food, everything I had was either acceptable or bad. I would skip this lounge unless you really have nothing else to do in Changi or are just looking for a place to sit. I would go to the other lounges past immigration instead.
Services
With Priority Pass access, each guest will receive this card which allows you shower access, 1 beer, and 1 entree from the menu.
You can see the menu and pictures of the meals below.

Meal ticket menu
This was the food menu where you could select one meal:

There are some vegetarian options as well.
From the meal ticket, I ordered the “Vegetarian Dim Sum” and the person I was traveling with ordered the “Dim Sum Platter”. When you order, the staff tells you the wait is about 20 minutes and gives you a buzzer. It took 20 minutes for one order, and about 30 minutes for the other order.

The vegetarian dim sum platter consisted of a mushroom bun, fried spring roll, fried rice vermicelli, and steamed rice noodle roll. The spring roll was okay, but everything else was bland.

The person I was traveling with said the dim sum was just ok, but clearly just reheated from frozen.
Other food options
There are other food options that are “buffet style”.

Coffee maker for hot drinks.

Cold drink selection and some puddings.

Close up on the drinks – soda and teas.

There’s some cereals and juices.

Some pastries: mini baked tuna pie, mini salted caramel plait, and a butter crossaint.

Pastries (donuts, muffins), iced gem cookies, and Japanese crackers. I tried the donuts, which were quite dry.
