Singapore Airport: SATS Premier Lounge – Review

  • Post published:January 18, 2025

If you’ve got extra time at Singapore’s Changi Airport, or are planning whether the lounge is worth showing up extra for, let’s dine together at the SATS Premier Lounge!

I had access to this lounge through my Priority Pass membership, which is included with my Capital One Venture X credit card. If you’re a frequent international traveler, I highly recommend getting a credit card with lounge access – and Capital One Venture X is one of the best, if not the cheapest, credit card with an extensive lounge membership. You can read the full review and learn more about the benefits about the card in my post below:

Alternatively, if you’re ready to apply for the card, please consider using my referral link. At no additional cost, I’ll earn extra miles which will help support this website!

Without the card, I would not personally pay out of pocket for the lounges – the prices vary, but typically lounge access can be as expensive as $50-100 USD per person for a 2 hour stay. 🤯 With the Venture X, you get lounge access and can bring up to 2 guests who have a valid departing boarding pass.

Location

This lounge is located in Terminal 3. There is a Skytrain between T3 and T1/T2. At Changi, you will go through immigration to go to the secured area, which is where the lounges and shopping is.

At your gate, you will then go through additional security before boarding, so allow adequate time to get from the lounge to your gate. Because security is done at the gate, your carry-on liquids must fit TSA requirements (so don’t bring a drink to the gate).

Overall rating

Overall rating: Average. Of the food, everything I had was just acceptable but lacked authenticity. The lounge itself is nice, and has a wide food selection, but the food was not tasty. This lounge is the best of the lounges you can access in Terminal 3, but is still just average.

Food is served buffet style. There are quite a few vegetarian options and clear allergen labeling.
